{"id":251,"date":"2025-03-13T11:41:29","date_gmt":"2025-03-13T10:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prep.prezode-initiative.org\/?page_id=251"},"modified":"2025-05-09T16:01:45","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T14:01:45","slug":"international-secretariat","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/prep.prezode-initiative.org\/en\/international-secretariat\/","title":{"rendered":"The role of the Secretariat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Secretariat is responsible for coordinating and implementing the day-to-day activities of the PREZODE Initiative.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aims and Activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support the SC and the GA for the organization of meetings and reports;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare draft proposals for the SC to discuss, validate, and submit to the GA;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organize elections for the GA and the SC;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the additional working groups, or operational committees, on specific topics created by the SC;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the availability of tools to facilitate coordination, collaboration, and communication between members;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare communication materials to foster exchange with external stakeholders, or potential partners;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the review and evaluation of the activities performed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report each year on its activities and on budget-related issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage all issues related to personal data protection in accordance with applicable rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>To ensure efficient operations, oversee activities and manage reports, the Secretariat participates as an observer in the <a href=\"https:\/\/prep.prezode-initiative.org\/en\/steering-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SC<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Composition<br><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-left is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-fdcfc74e wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background-color has-pz-orange-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/prep.prezode-initiative.org\/en\/members-type\/secretariat-excom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meet our Secretariat and ExCom staff<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Secretariat is composed of project managers and administrative staff. It is led by a General Secretary.<br>The Secretariat\u2019s human, financial, and material resources shall be provided on a voluntary basis by PREZODE members. A call will be launched among members to support the Secretariat. Members agreeing to do so will enter into a specific Consortium Agreement.<br>As a provisional measure, the meetings of the Secretariat shall be convened by the preparatory committee established before the creation of the Secretariat.
